AskLikeThat respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Android applications published by AskLikeThat handle information and files when you use them.

This policy currently applies to the following AskLikeThat Android applications:

• SnapKB — image resizing and compression

• SignaFit — signature image resizing and preparation

• PageSnap — conversion of PDF pages to images

• MetaWipe — removal of metadata from user-selected images

• HEICSnap — conversion of HEIC images to JPG

For the purposes of this policy, these applications are collectively referred to as the “AskLikeThat Apps.”

The AskLikeThat Apps are designed as simple utility tools. Their core functions are intended to operate on content selected by the user for processing on the user's device.

AskLikeThat does not require users to create an account or sign in to use these apps.

The apps are not designed to collect or sell users' personal information.

Some AskLikeThat Apps require access to files or images that you deliberately select in order to perform the function you request.

Depending on the app, this may include:

• photographs or other images;

• signature images;

• HEIC/HEIF images;

• PDF documents or selected PDF pages; and

• metadata contained within user-selected images.

This content is accessed for the purpose of carrying out the operation requested by the user, such as resizing, compressing, converting, cleaning metadata, saving or sharing a resulting file.

AskLikeThat does not operate a server to which these selected files are uploaded for the core processing performed by the AskLikeThat Apps. Processing is intended to occur locally on the user's device.

Files produced by an app are saved only when initiated by the user or as necessary to provide the requested app function.

Some AskLikeThat Apps include a Share function.

When a user chooses to share an output file, Android may display compatible applications or services available on the user's device. The user chooses whether to share the file and which third-party application or service receives it.

Any information subsequently handled by a third-party application or service is subject to that third party's own privacy practices and policies.

AskLikeThat does not control how a third-party service handles information after the user chooses to send content to that service.

The current versions of the AskLikeThat Apps do not require:

• an AskLikeThat user account;

• a username or password;

• the user's name;

• a postal address;

• payment information; or

• account profile information

in order to provide their core functionality.

The AskLikeThat Apps are currently provided free of charge.

The current versions of the AskLikeThat Apps do not contain third-party advertising.

If advertising or advertising technology is introduced into an app in the future, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated as required before or when such functionality is introduced.

An AskLikeThat App may request or use access necessary for its stated functionality, such as allowing a user to select, process, save or share an image or document.

AskLikeThat aims to limit device access to what is reasonably necessary to provide the feature requested by the user.

Access to a user-selected file does not mean that AskLikeThat takes ownership of that file. Users retain responsibility for and control over the content they choose to process.

AskLikeThat does not sell personal or sensitive user data obtained through the AskLikeThat Apps.

AskLikeThat does not use files selected for local processing to build advertising profiles.

Where a user deliberately activates an Android sharing function, the transfer is initiated and controlled by the user.

Because the AskLikeThat Apps do not currently require user accounts and their core file-processing functions are designed to operate locally, AskLikeThat does not maintain an online user account containing the files processed through these core functions.

Users can delete input and output files stored on their own device using the normal file-management features of their device.

Users can also clear an app's locally stored data or uninstall the app using Android's device settings.

If AskLikeThat introduces server-based storage, user accounts, cloud processing or other forms of personal-data collection in the future, this policy will be updated to explain applicable retention and deletion procedures.

AskLikeThat designs its apps to minimise unnecessary collection and transmission of user data.

Local processing is used for the core file-processing functions described in this policy.

Users should nevertheless protect their own devices and use appropriate care when choosing to share files with other applications or services.

No electronic system or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The AskLikeThat Apps are general-purpose utility applications and are not specifically designed or directed toward children.

AskLikeThat does not knowingly design these apps to collect personal information from children.

An AskLikeThat App may contain a link to an AskLikeThat webpage or related AskLikeThat resource.

Opening an external link may cause the user's web browser to connect to the relevant website.

Information handled by a website is subject to the privacy terms applicable to that website.

AskLikeThat may update this Privacy Policy when the apps, applicable requirements or our data practices change.

When the policy is updated, the Last updated date at the top of this page will be revised.

Material changes to data handling will also be reflected in applicable app disclosures and Google Play information where required.
